Handler - A player that typically is responsible for throwing the disc to the Cutters. After a Cutter catches a disc they will typically dump it back to a Handler.
Cutter - Primarily responsible for catching the discs thrown by the Handlers
Huck - A long-distance throw, typically over 30 yards.
Pull - The throw made after a team scores, which initiates the start of play for the next point.
Up - Verbal call to signal to downfield players that a disc has been thrown and is in the air.
Stack - A set play where cutters line up in a formation and then run plays to get the disc
Force Home/Away - The defender(s) will align on a specific side of a disc handler to attempt to force the offense to throw to a desired side of the field.
Callahan - Term for when the defense is able to intercept a frisbee in the opponent's own endzone, resulting in an immediate point for the defense. Is a rare occurrence and when it happens the teams get excited.
Cup - When a team is in a zone defense (typically on windy days or to try to limit deep throws) three defensive players will form a cup around the Handler to limit where they are able to throw the disc. Only one of the defensive players can be within 10 feet of the Handler.
Hammer - Throwing the disc overhand. It is a challenging throw and catch as the disc is usually upside down when it reaches the Cutter.
ISO (player name) - A set play, usually in the endzone, where the handler is trying to get the disc to a specific Cutter
Live Score Updates - generally posted on the Stack Team App by a volunteer parent
